hint: remote web management

hello all!

I just got my DNS-323
Great little box.. lots of fun potential.
I have installed my fun plug and have telnet running .. the instructions for chroot debian (sarge) seem a bit off.
I don't see the directory called "cdebootstrap".. more questions latter... like how to run ctorrent?!
multiple ctorrents!

Anyhow. I noticed on occaision reboot kills the ftpd so ftp isn't available. I would like address this (check on router, or manage router)
from outside my home NAT network. As the DNS-323 is behind a router in a NAT pool.

I programmed my router to address this. Since I have port 80 for another web server (don't have a web server on the DNS box, yet!)

I do the following:

Using DynDNS I route outside port to the NAT port 80 on the IP address of the DNS-323 box.

http://outsidedynDNSname:8088  ----> this hits the router via IP Forwarding port 8088 to inside NAT IP address and port 80

Works Great!
I use a Buffalo G router flashed with dd-wrt!

Good Luck!
