Hi,
I enabled the mediatomb server in funplug 0.5. I changed the media folder to /mnt/HD_a2/Media, I didn't change anything else in the configuration.
I does index the files, which are visible when I connect to nas:49152.
In my xbox (xbmc) I added a networklocation (UPnP server protocol). It does find my nas by UUID.
When browsing to the NAS it shows a Mediatomb folder, but when clicking into this mediatomb folder it's empty (It also takes about 30-40 seconds before the click on the folder is processed and the empty folder is shown).
I can't find much info on how to make xbmc work with mediatomb. Anyone got it working?

nobody?
Yesterday I tried Twonky, works like a charm out of thebox. Just download the dns-323 version, run the installer, setup path to media files, restart, done.
Xbox finds the twonky media server instantly and shows all files.
Downside is no ffwd/frwd possible when running from twonky, so I switched back to smb shares instead.
For remote music listening I switched to musicbrowser.sourceforge.net.

I recently had a similar thing with my PS3 seeing Mediatomb but not recognising any movies in mediatombs library.
In the end I sorted it out by installing SQL lite on the DN-323 and restarting mediatomb afterwards and then all was OK.
