Hi,
I have a CH3SNAS working fine with fun_plug 0.5
The only problem at the moment is that when I view the fileson the smb share, for example in windows,
the timestamps of all files and folders is off.
For example I create a test.txt from windows on \\NAS\Volume_1 .
In windows it shows the time 05:32 a day later, while the local time is 19:32. In ssh shell on CH3SNAS it also shows 19:32
correctly.
Windows
03-09-2008 05:32 0 test.txt
shell
-rwxrwxrwx 1 nobody 501 0 Sep 2 19:32 test.txt
Does anyabody know where this 10hour difference comes from?
Output from CH3SNAS date command:
root@NAS:/nzbget# date Tue Sep 2 19:41:47 GMT 2008
Timezone in Windows is CET (GMT+1). which is where I am.
I am not sure whether I need to set the timezone in linux on the CH3SNAS as well.
Thanks in advance for your help!

It could be a firmware problem. I found the following article at www.aroundmyroom.com:
CH3SNAS firmware 1.04RC4
July 4, 2008
As it was the purpose to have the 1.04RC3 being released officially I’ve decided not to release it through the official channel. I have just received an important bugfix which was finished earlier than expected. So probably early next week this version will be released.
In this release only the following has been fixed:
The samba server time setting is not synchronized with FTP server and device web time setting.
This means that in certain conditions you could see time differences when uploading / copying files to the CH3SNAS.
