Hi all
I just received my 2nd DNS 323 this morning and wanted to enable SSH and SFTP just like I did on the first one. The new box is rev B and has been upgraded to 1.04 firmware like my other one.
I am using fonz's fun_plug 0.4 and successfully configured telnet. I extracted dropbear-0.50.tgz and openssh-sftp-4.6p1.tgz from fonz's site to the correct loctaions, but ssh won't start. When i try to start it manually, I see segmentation faults when it tries to generate the DSA and RSA keys. I managed to get this working fine before on my Rev A 323 with 1.04.
Output of manual start attempt:
/mnt/HD_a2/fun_plug.d/start # ./dropbear.sh start
Generating DSA host key...
Segmentation fault
Generating RSA host key...
Segmentation fault
Starting dropbear ...
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Mike

0.4 is compiled with different compiler options (with different -march and -mcpu values). 0.5 should work fine. Is there anything that keeps you from switching to 0.5?

Hi fonz. Thanks for your reply.
I went with 0.4 since I have had no issues with that on my first 323 and figured it would be just as simple to set up. I guess the note about 0.5 still being beta that made mydecision, but after looking at the packages included I think I will give that a go. Will let you know how it goes.
Cheers,
Mike
