Hi linux-friends,
My CH3SNAS is working fine as NAS, audio streamer and newsleecher. I use nzbget to retrieve files from a newsserver, par2 to repair broken files and unrar to extract files from the .rar archives (usually a set like part01.rar, part02.rar, etc.).
The problem is that unrar has problems to extract files from some .rar sets.
I tried the following unrar program: http://www.rarlab.com/rar/unrar-arm.tar.bz2
This unrar version sometimes crashes with a segmentation fault on some .rar sets.
I also tried unrar from the optware packages ( http://ipkg.nslu2-linux.org/feeds/optwa … -1_arm.ipk )
This unrar version (3.71 beta 1 freeware, 1993-2007 Alexander Roshal) ends with an error (CRC failed) on some .rar sets.
The strange thing is that |I am able to extract the same .rar sets with winrar on a XP machine wihout any error, so I assume that the .rar sets do not contain an error and that there is something wrong with unrar or my CH3NAS configuration.
I don't know how to solve this problem, Google didn't help me, so any help will be much appreciated!

I use ffp 0.5 with unrar package, works without segmentation faults.
But that one still gives sometimes errors: 1 when the rar is succesfully extracted.
Pick it from here:

I tried that too, but still the same problem...
When I unrar the files within chooted etch evironment on my nas, there is no problem.
Could there be something wrong with a file/library that is needed by unrar? How can I find out any dependancies?
