Re: Updated to v1.05 firmware - sllooooowwww access to drives!

Yes, just download the 1.04 F/W and put in in in the web admin tool.

I am having a hard time understanding your problem.  I am also running 2 WD 1TB Green Drives in one of my DNSs with F/W 1.05 and I have no problems at all.  What playback are you refering to?  I stream video to 2 Popcorn Hours using NFS on FFP 0.5 and I have no issue at all.

DNS-323     F/W: 1.04b84  H/W: A1  ffp: 0.5  Drives: 2X 400 GB Seagate SATA-300
DNS-323     F/W: 1.05b28  H/W: B1  ffp: 0.5  Drives: 2X 1 TB  WD SATA-300
DSM-G600   F/W: 1.02       H/W: B                Drive:  500 GB WD ATA

same problem with a new DNS-323 with 1.05 firmware (thread here).

Problem turned out to be a bad DHCP from my ADSL Modem. I reformatted my drives on firmware 1.5 and went though a complete network check. Playback and file transfer excellent again.
