Hi,
Does anyone know why the Australian version of the 1.05 firmware is missing Bittorrent?
The release notes (here: ftp://files.dlink.com.au/products/DNS-3 … _Notes.txt) simply state:
** Note that there is no Bittorrent Support available. This feature is not supported
Is this the same in other countries?
And can I safely use the US version of 1.05 on my device?

I would guess this is because a legal issue in AU. The devices are identical, so yes, the firmware would work. There may not actually be a difference between the firmware, as the bittorrent software is installed from easy share, and not included in the software. Before changing firmware, try the US version of easy share and see if it loades the bittorrent client and if it works.
