New user second post :-)
I noticed that copying a file to the DNS-323 via network share from windows xp is quick. But deleting this file afterwards takes a few seconds where the LAN-LED of the NAS flashes rapidly.
I took a look with Wireshark and saw the same SMB packets (QUERY_FILE_INFO request and response) over and over again.
So I formatted my HDD to get rid of every stupid thing I might have managed to do, reflashed the firmware and set the unit to default settings - but no change.
Is this a bug in 1.05 or do I have to configure something differently in the samba server?
