It looks like tivoserver uses ffmpeg to transcode video "on the fly" to the native video format required by the tivo (looks like mpeg2video). I doubt very much that transcoding video will work on the DNS-323 with the CPU and memory in the device. If you streaming video in Tivo's native format, it might work.
