Hi all!
I've spent the free moments of my weekend getting ffp and Firefly working on my 323... I know, what a way to spend a weekend.
A question for you veterans...
How do I get firefly to start automagically when I reboot the 323? Not wanting to leave a telnet window open all the time, y'know? I've added the following code to the end of my fun_plug file but no dice:
if [ -f /mnt/HD_a2/lnx_bin/mt-daapd ] then export PATH=/mnt/HD_a2/lnx_bin:$PATH export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/mnt/HD_a2/lnx_bin/lib /mnt/HD_a2/lnx_bin/mt-daapd -c /mnt/HD_a2/lnx_bin/mt-daapd.conf fi
Thanks, tons!
Adam

I'm in the exact same boat. The instructions on the wiki for installing firefly via ffp are sparse.
Any help would be appreciated, especially step by step instructions for installing firefly via ffp.
thanks

Sorry for being off-topic but lots of people use MediaTomb or TwonkyVision.
Why did you come up with Firefly? Just being curious.
(Looks interesting though.)

Firefly is a replacement for the (flaky) built in iTunes server - my understanding is that MT and TV are uPNP servers (for streaming to xbox, ps3 etc)

Thx, you'r right, it's for streaming music not video.
