Mounting a samba share from DNS-323

I am using TwonkyVision as a media server from my DNS-323. And, I would like to also serve up an external samba share. I was wonder if anyone knows how to mount an external samba share.

I tried the standard mount -t smbfs -o username=<name>,password=<passwd> //sambashare /mountpoint but I get a "No such device".

I am using a fun-plug 0.4 install from http://www.inreto.de/dns323/fun-plug/0.4/

Has anyone been able to get this to work?

Re: Mounting a samba share from DNS-323

Did you install a module for smbfs?  The DNS does not support samba file system without a module.  Look here to see what you can mount:

Code:

/ # cat /proc/filesystems
nodev sysfs
nodev rootfs
nodev bdev
nodev proc
nodev sockfs
nodev usbfs
nodev pipefs
nodev futexfs
nodev tmpfs
nodev eventpollfs
nodev devpts
        ext3
        ext2
        cramfs
nodev ramfs
        minix
        msdos
        vfat
nodev nfs
nodev autofs
nodev rpc_pipefs
/ #
