I'm using NZBGET without any problems, however when I turn on the SSL support in the conf file a coredump is created and thats it...
My news provider is supporting SSL and from my desktop PC it works fine.
Do I have to install openSSL in order to get NZBGET working with SSL, if so are there specific steps I should pay attention to?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, the R269 version (while it says Dec 18, hugbug updated it on Dec 24) works fine encrypted w/o stunnel

Great, can I install over the existing NZBget or do I have to remove it first? Sorry for the noob question but I´m not very experienced with linux/unix.

you can get the latest from the sourceforce repository (dns323)
edit the nzbget.conf
move the executable to /ffp/bin
move the nzbget.conf to /ffp/etc
move the nzbget.sh to /ffp/start
here is a script, you might have to edit:
##install nzbget mv ./nzbget/nzbget /ffp/bin/nzbget mv ./nzbget/nzbget.conf /ffp/etc/nzbget.conf mv ./nzbget/postprocess.sh /ffp/etc/postprocess.sh mv ./nzbget/nzbget.sh /ffp/start/nzbget.sh
