upnp video playback quits after 20-30 mins.

Hi,

I've just got a 323 and I'm trying to play back some DivX (6.2) on my Philips SLM5500. About 20-30 mins into almost every video, my Philips box seems to reset back to it's main screen with a vague file corruption message. I have played back the same file on the Philips from my PC using Media Player's upnp service, and it works perfectly. I am running a RAID Mirror config. I have tried Wired/Wireless connections, EXT3 and EXT2 formatting with no effect.

It seems to be some kind of buffer issue or memory leak on my 323, I have put the latest firmware on to no effect, has anyone else seen anything like this?

Any help would be very welcome smile

Thanks,

Mike.

In addition to the post above, I have discovered that pausing the video stream regularly seems to prevent the error above. Still seems to be pointing to some kind of buffering issue on the D-Link.

Re: upnp video playback quits after 20-30 mins.

I think I may be having the same problem.  I never had the problem until I installed the new firmware 1.03.  When I get about 20-30 minutes into a show the program just pauses and sits there.  I let it sit there for 30 minutes today and nothing happened.

Does anyone know why this is and how to remedy it?  As I mentioned I had never had the problem until I installed the new firmware but I'm not sure if that would be the problem because nobody else mentioned it.

Thanks

Re: upnp video playback quits after 20-30 mins.

I should also note that after mine stops playing I can go back out and it can  no longer find the folders, which makes me think it is definately an issue with the DNS and not the media player.  Has anyone else had this happen to them and if so what did you do to figure it out.
