Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

twonky on the dns-323

Does anybody have a guide for installing twonky on the dns-323.  I'm new to this and very new to Linux.  I found the install guide on the twonky site, but its for either a windows pc or a linux pc, not a nsd.  I've already added fun_plug so I can telnet to my dns-323.

Any help would be appreciated.

Has the 323 installation on it. Theres a readme in the zip file, but from memory it was pretty straight forward.

Does the built-in UPnP server not do what you desire?

Under firmware 1.05 go to:
ADVANCED tab
UPnP AV SERVER sub tab

and configure as you wish..

Re: twonky on the dns-323

Thanks for the help.  That's what I was looking for.  As for the built in UPnP server, I got tired of trying to get it to work consistently.   Twonky installed without any hickups and its been working great.
