Upgrading Samba via fun_plug 0.4?

G'Day,

- I am still running 1.04 firmware on my DNS323 as the current "known issue" with Vista is a bit scary in 1.05
- However 1.05 does not help what I need anyway which is to upgrade Samba from 3.0.24 which is included with funplug to a later stable version. I want at least 3.0.25 (http://samba.org/samba/history/samba-3.0.25.html) as it includes better support for offline files with Vista clients. Even though M$ says 3.0.22 is OK (http://blogs.technet.com/filecab/archiv … vices.aspx)

So.... How do I upgrade Samba? Fun_plug 0.5 does not mention the Samba version it is including. All help and pointers greatly appreciated.

Oops. Sorry missed that. I realise 0.5 is BETA and that the structure changes. Are there upgrade instructions from 0.4? (I promised I have looked).
