UPnP Media Server sort order

Hi all,

Has anyone else come across the issue with the Media server not sorting video files correctly.  I have a number of series like lost and heroes where I have the file names as e01.avi, e02.avi, e03.avi etc

However when I connect to it via cidero or via my dlink dsm-320 the order of files appears to be pretty random (though it is always the same order even after a refresh of the directories)

ie

03.avi
04.avi
05.avi
06.avi
07.avi
11.avi
12.avi
13.avi
15.avi
08.avi
09.avi
10.avi
14.avi
01.avi
02.avi

Can playlists be created for video files?  if so what is the format for playlists?  Or is it trying to sort on another criteria not just name?

Many Thanks

Andy

Re: UPnP Media Server sort order

I have the same problem... how do you refresh your directories?
