Open connection to ALL-SYSTEMS.MCAST.NET?

Today a disabled the internet connection on my router. Later on I noticed today lsof on the DNS-323 took a long time to execute. After reestablishing the internet connection lsof is completed within seconds.

I looked into it and found that op_server has opened a connection to ALL-SYSTEMS.MCAST.NET Port 13579. Why is that? I'm not downloading anything (never used that feature)

Output lsof | grep op_server

Code:

op_server 1602 root cwd DIR 1,0 1024 2 /
op_server 1602 root rtd DIR 1,0 1024 2 /
op_server 1602 root txt REG 7,0 53392 4551396 /sys/crfs/sbin/op_server

What's going on here?

Thanks

Ok, google is my friend.

So I do not have to worry, because it is local multicast? But where does it come from? And why is lsof blocked when there is no internet connection - which is definitly not my local net?

Maybe I didn't get it - sorry for that.

It's used for upnp and bonjour.

Because the name resolution does not work then.
