Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

Hi,
My power went out last night (as it does sometimes in this area) and now, with power restored, my DNS-323 no longer boots. The centre button lights up and flashes as though it were booting properly, the network light comes on, then the hard drive lights, but the centre light keeps flashing and I can't access the drives over the network at all (not even telnet works).
I had used used fonz's funplug, but never had any issues with it before. I've also attempted to boot the device with the drives removed but it does the same thing (minus the hard drive lights glowing).
Any ideas for this? Is it possible the device was fried? If so, would I have any issues returning it under warranty?
Thanks.

There should be a reset button somewhere on the box which will set the unit back to factory defaults. You can try that and see if the unit is booting again. After that you can restore a backup of your configuration or configure it again manually. Hope it helps!

If I don't have a backup of the configuration is it likely to affect the data on the drives?

No, it does not.
