Simplify Media - DNS streaming to Iphone
Has anyone had any luck getting simplifymedia running on their box?

Are there any other known methods to stream music to the iphone? Tried llink but safari won't open the files...

This would be really nice to have on the DNS-323. It'll keep me from making a DIY NAS with an atom board for another year or so

I'm interested in this as well. I've installed it on my Windows laptop for now, but it'd be great if it could run on the NAS.

Yeah this is a great, great piece of software. The Simplify Media iPhone app is THE killer app for the iPhone.
I currently have my desktop (OS X) sharing out my library which is stored on the 323. but it'd be nice to be able to run the desktop program on the 323 (just as I run firefly on it now).
My rudimentary understanding of the situation is that it would take quite a bit of work to get a DNS-323 port going, but I hope I'm wrong....

Since you can't run x86 binaries on the DNS-323, you need either the source code or a compatible precompiled binary. After a short look, I couldn't find neither on the website.
