I'm using a DNS-323 with two Samsung hard drives (HD501LJ), which are combinded to a raid1. I'm think about taking the two drives out of the DNS, putting them into a usb enclosure and enabling the acoustic managment using the Ultimate BootCD to quiet the drives (and to lower their temperatures?!?) Can I do this without loosing the data which is stored on the drives?
