Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.
You are not logged in.
So there will be the worst tutorial what you ever read...
You need Internet explorer 7 installed on your XP.
You need this program from here:
http://www.cseszlovak.hu/xpsidebar/xpsidebar.zip
or here:
http://www.cirip.net/xpsidebar/xpsidebar.zip
This is the official website but I confused with it:
http://www.fromvistatoxp.com/
You have to use 7zip
http://www.7-zip.org/)
to succesfully uncpack the file!
So you get some folder.
At first:
From the Ricks_VistaRTMFonts folder copy all *.ttf to your windows/Fonts folder.
Next install the VAIO.
From the Ricks_VAIOXP run the VAIOXPsomething.exe
Nothing scenic will be happen.
You can test the success of the install procedure by a right click on an *.exe.
You can see a "Run Vista executable" context menu item.
Next from the Ricks_WLanAPI folder install the *.inf
(Right click on the inf and select the install from the context menu.)
Next please copy and overwrite the file wlanapi.dll to windows/system32
Now in the Ricks_VistaRTMSidebar folder right click in the *.inf and install.
During the Install it will be ask you for some file.
Give path for the *.cab file in this folder.
Wait a lot. (and wait... wait...)
Restart system.
The installation procedure of Sidebar finished!
Next, download the DNS 323 Windows Vista Gadget from Phil.
http://philwigglesworth.net/downloads/N … 999.gadget
There are a lot useful info about this gadget in the site and Phil very helpful in any question.
http://philwigglesworth.net/BlogEngine. … adget.aspx
So rename the downloaded gadget extension to rar and unrar it to a folder.
Next rename the folder to anything but you keep attention that the end of
the folder name have to .Gadget (for example: NAS.Gadget or DNS-323.Gadget)
Next Copy this folder to the program files/Windows Sidebar/Shared Gadgets
Thats all! Have fun!
(Thanx to DZSÓ for the original instruction!)
Disclaimer: I only translate this howto and of course I use it. But I'm not the developer or any IT magus.
I use XP with SP3 and the gadget run on my machine.

Thanks Cirip ... works like a champ ... XP w/ SP3
Edit:
After installing, some gadgets may not work properly (like the clocks, cpu usage, etc) ... so after all is said and done, run the following from "Start->Run"
"c:\program files\windows sidebar\sidebar.exe" /regserver
(Yes, include the quotes)
After this, everything should work properly ...

have done a auto exe which install your pack, you still need to have IE7 installed and to reboot your computer before being able to use the bar.
You can download the file there :
wait 50 sec and press the button "telecharger"
enjoy
