Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

Serious problem: no ssh and no telnet

I don't really know where I went wrong here. I installed funplug and could telnet in. Then I disabled telnet and started using ssh (used some instructions on the forum). Whatever my ssh user was I must have had some admin privs. Then I was messing with the config load and save settings in the web gui, just tinkering around seeing what different things were available. I saved some settings and when I loaded them back I could no longer ssh in as an admin. I created a new user and could log in using that user, but had no admin privs. I tried to remove the funplug so I could reinstall it and start over with new ssh and telnet, but don't have the privs to remove it. Now I can no longer ssh or telnet into my machine (with any account).

I am on WindowsXP. I am using putty. When I use putty I get a "Network error: Connection Refused" error.
I was hoping there was a way to set everything just like it was out of the box. I tried reset and it doesn't seem to work.
I feel like I need to reinstall the os on here. I even tried flashing to version 1.05 again. Nothing is working... I have a useless 323.

Any ideas.

Re: Serious problem: no ssh and no telnet

OK, got it. Just reformatted the drives and then put funplugs back on. I have access again.
Was a little worried there for a bit. Luckily I didn't have anything on the drives yet.

http://dns323.kood.org/howto:ffp#the_root_user has a simpler way to reenable password-less telnet.
