Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

Help with Upgrading to Larger Disks

Hi there,

Currently running 2x320Gig drives in Raid 1 witth fun_plug
I've bought 2x700gig drives and want to swap these in as my new disks running raid 1.

Whats the best way to do this without losing any data?
Any guides for this?

Cheers

Re: Help with Upgrading to Larger Disks

I found the best way is to:
1) Take out the disks.
2) Install the new ones and set them up.
3) Get ffp installed and working on the new ones.
4) Install the usbdisk.ko module (insmod).
5) Connect 1 of the old ones to a SATA - USB adapter/enclosure and plug into the DNS.
6) Mount the USB drive.
7) Copy your data to the new drive.
