I have External USB drives connected to my DNS-323 an the script can mount ext2 and vfat drives but not ntfs drives what am i doing wrong.
I tried to look at connected drives with
fdisk -l
but still only ext2 and vfat drives showing.

Does
insmod /ffp/lib/modules/$(uname -r)/ntfs.ko
(line 36 of the script) give an errormessage?

I haven't rebooted the system
/ # insmod /ffp/lib/modules/$(uname -r)/ntfs.ko
insmod: cannot insert '/ffp/lib/modules/2.6.12.6-arm1/ntfs.ko': File exists
so apparently has the driver been loaded.

Be very careful with that module. Depending which one you have, you could abruptly lose all your data on the NTFS partition / drive. I did some extensive testing last year with one I got from this forum somewhere and had repeated data losses during testing. I finally gave up on using NTFS and decided it was easier and safer to use EXT2 on my windows machines.
Just be warned.

I'm actually going to transfer the files from the NTFS disk to the DNS-323 so it will only be a temporary arrangement and to my knowledge NTFS disks are only supported as Readonly.

I thought that they were supported read only through the native DLink FW ? (IE: if you plugged one into one of the two bays it would read, but not write, to the drive).
