Hello DNS-323-professionals,
is there a logfile or debug functionality on the DNS-323 to trace errors in UPnP-scan and/or -playback?
Problem description:
My UPnP-Refresh-scan runs properly up to the end, but when I want to start playback of music over UPnP using my Soundbridge Home Music, the Soundbridge can browse only through some FEW of the files and directories.
==> I only see around 10% of what I should see in the UPnP-browser-list.
Even worse: only a few files of those 10% can be streamed successfully.
==> Playback only works for some folders, other folders are visible but I cannot play any of those files.
Right now, I work around this by using a fun-plugged firefly (mt-daapd svv1735 with ogg support).
My questions to you:
1. Are there any known limitations of the UPnP-Server?
2. How can I trace the issue that not all files appear in my UPnP-list?
3. How can I trace the issue that not all files that appear in the UPnP-list can be played back?

In this thread

on another forum Wireshark was used to spy on the UPnP traffic, however the post I've linked to probably explains pretty clearly what the problem is in your case (and my case before I started running Twonky http://www.twonkyvision.com/Download/Tw … cians.html on the DNS 323.
Does anyone know if the 1.06 firmware will make this issue go away with the built in UPnP server?

Now that the official firmware 1.06 is out, I would like to bump the question that is surely relevant for sjmac, myself and maybe more people...
