Upgraded my DNS to firmware 1.06 in order to take advantage of new features. This morning while checking things out I noticed the UPS is not recognized. Issuing a upsd command at the prompt returns the following;
Network UPS Tools upsd 2.2.2 listening on 0.0.0.0 port 3493 Can't connect to UPS [APC_UPS] (usbhid-ups-APC_UPS): No such file or directory
The UPS is connected to the DNS323 via USB hub. Also connected to the hub is a memory stick and a printer. The memory stick is used to run ffp. If the USB hub, memory stick and printer are removed from the equation by plugging the UPS directly into the DNS323, the UPS is recognized. Other than stopping the built in version of NUT and running the same from ffp, can anyone offer a solution to this problem?

If the UPS alone is connected via the USB hub what happens?

upsd reports the following;
Network UPS Tools upsd 2.2.2
not listening on 0.0.0.0 port 3493
Seems kinda wierd; In the first case the message indicates the port is listening, in the secind it doesn't. Is nut even working with my APC UPS?
