Debian etch (chroot) & External USB CDMA wireless modem.

Hi,

I need help or someone that can point me in the right direction.
I`m trying to get an external cdma modem working on my dns-323. This is what i need to do
http://feed.bitcortex.co.za/node/9

user@linux:~$ lsusb
Bus 002 Device 002: ID 1d09:4000
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000

but i dont know where to get lsusb, any one with a idea? or will this not work on the dns or the chroot`ed etch environment?

Thanks for the help

Rgds

Re: Debian etch (chroot) & External USB CDMA wireless modem.

Last night i got usbutils installed and this gives me access to lsusb. But nothing pops up. I think it has to do with the etch chroot`ed environment not seeing the system devices.

Anyone have a clue how i let chroot etch see them and have access to them. Is this even possible?

Thanks
