nTorrent & rTorrent

Hi

It seems that I have managed to install rtorrent on my DNS - 323. (Since I am a complete newbie it was a hard task…) Now it starts without problem. I have tried to reach it with ntorrent unfortunatelly with no success.

The only thing that I have modified in rtorrent.rc is the line with scgi_port to  “scgi_port = 127.0.0.1:5000″

Please let me know what else should I do to make it work.

Thank you!

http://www.nslu2-linux.org/wiki/HowTo/O … ntOnDebian makes it look like your missing some setup with lighttpd
Using ffp 0.5: http://www.shadowandy.net/2008/12/rtorr … ns-323.htm Although you'll have to figure out the xmlpc client yourself.

I also don't have luck getting ntorrent to talk to my rtorrent.

I installed a xmlrpc client on the DNS. No matter what command I entered, I got

Error: HTTP request completed with HTTp error 302.  Libwww supplied some error detail, but its HTDialog_errorMessage() subroutine mysteriously failed to interpret it for us. (-504)

Except then this, rtorrent is running great. much faster than transmission in term of download speed.

Re: nTorrent & rTorrent

I got ntorrent talking to rtorrent by using the files post at http://groups.google.com/group/NSLU2-rtorrent/files. This is under chroot'd debian lenny. In addition to the files, lighttpd.conf also needs to be updated per http://www.nslu2-linux.org/wiki/HowTo/R … RemoteGUI.

I also try rtorrent with files from http://www.shadowandy.net/2008/12/rtorr … ns-323.htm under fun_plug but it crashes as soon as it starts to download.
