Hello,
I just upgraded from Twonky 4.4.9 in order to get the new Twonky 5.0.46 running on my DNS-323.
Downloaded from here:
http://www.twonkyforum.com/unsupported/5.0.46/
The server starts up fine and can be accesses and configured via webfrontend. It currently it builds the database which will probably take a while.
Something I noticed right from the start and that is that the 2 drive-LED go yellow as soon as the server is started. However in the "normal" D-Link DNS-323 webfrontend there is no message coming like "RAID1 degraded" or somethink. Also the yellow light disappear, as soon as Twonky is stoppe and DNS-323 is rebooted.
I am currently rescanning the media files and restarting server and so on in order to get things up and running.
However the logfile shows...
[problems with scanning ogg]
22:18:09:068 LOG_SYSTEM:upnp_file_create_path: error creating directory: /home/root/.TwonkyMediaServer/db/16/The B-52's - [1998] - Time Capsule: Songs for a Future Generation
22:18:09:119 LOG_SCAN: added /mnt/HD_a2/MP3/Alben/The B-52's - [1998] - Time Capsule: Songs for a Future Generation/09 - Love Shack.ogg
[/problems with ogg]
and even worse...
[problems with scanning MP3]
22:18:09:609 LOG_SCAN: adding file /mnt/HD_a2/MP3/Alben/Helge Schneider - [2000] - Hefte raus, Klassenarbeit!/Hefte raus - Klassenarbeit! (Disc 1)/01-Sunny.mp3
22:18:09:621 LOG_SYSTEM:upnp_file_create_path: error creating directory: /home/root/.TwonkyMediaServer/db/16/Helge Schneider - [2000] - Hefte raus, Klassenarbeit!
[/problems with MP3]
Has anyone managed so far to successfully bring this "unsupported" version up and running without (LED)-hassle and a successfull scan?
