Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

I am interested in having my DNS-323 serve as my sole webserver (without an always on computer). I was told to come see you guys. Who can get me started on some reading to catch up or just point me in the right direction?
Anywhere I can find an "Intro" to the hack firmware - advanatges / features / etc. I assume the software available here is the "fun_plug"?
Thanks in advance...

Ryan - look above - find the link to the Wiki and start reading.
The fun_plug is not really a piece of software but a script that runs at startup, and that script can be used to call whatever code you can devise. You'll see references to ffp - which is short for "fonz fun plug", which is a fun_plug created by what I can only describe as a DNS-323 guru.
You can download and install ffp or you can create your own.

Just to give you a idea of what is possible, check out http://than-sad.dlinkddns.com/index.php
this site is hosted on a DNS-323.

Heh... Not a very good example. His webserver is down.
If you plan on running your own webserver (and making the URL available to the general public), Make sure it's running! ;-)
A UPS connected to your 323 along with modem and router is probably a good idea too.
As I told Ryan on the other 323 forum, you can pretty much do whatever comes to mind. Follow the wiki links and you should have funplug up and running in minutes. Took me days upon days however to lock it down and tweak my site. All fun stuff tho and you'll learn huge amounts in the process.

lighthttp is what you want to look at in the wiki.
