Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

After reboot, all settings set back to factory default.

Hi, i have dns-323, after update firmware from 1.05 to 1.06, all the settings like password, static ip, time zone... will be lost after i restart (reboot).

After that, i tried to solve it by downgrade firm ware back to 1.05 but could not solve the problems. I also tried other firmwares like 1.02, 1.03, 1.04 and found that only version 1.03 can hold the settings after i reboot.

But i really want to have firmware 1.05 or 1.06 to do the fun_plug.

Please help.

PS: I already tried fun-plug, the root password could not survive after reboot.

Re: After reboot, all settings set back to factory default.

For the root password to survive a reboot you need to execute "store-passwd.sh". It will copy the user and group information of all users from the RAM disk to flash.
