I had a question. I have read from a few sites that there is a 1.02 US firmware due out soon for the -B1 that a few people got from tech support early. The non-US version is already out. If there is no redistribution law and someone has it can it be made available here?

I have the 1.02 US firmware. I'm certainly willing to share it with anyone who needs it. Perhaps I should post it to one of those sites like megaupload?

I don't know why Dlink tech support hasn't posted it on their website yet. For example, WPA doesn't work with <= 1.01 firmware so the 1.02 firmware (either EU or US) is required for the product to actually perform its advertised functions.

But I'll wait to hear from the admins on whether they'll allow me to post the link.

Was DSM-G600V102.dat the original file name, or did you change it?

That's the original filename as I received it.
I've successfully flashed my unit with it through the web interface.

I don't have a changelog for it, but I can tell you this much from personal experience: (Note that the following compares 1.02 EU with 1.02 US)
* Addresses page display issues in non-IE browsers (Firefox, Opera.)
* Ext3 appears again as a format option in the web interface, like you're not going to shell in for that anyway
* FTP account info remains after reboot.
* One critical improvement of the 1.02 firmware - both EU and US - is that it supports WPA wifi encryption. (Confirmed for TKIP - can't speak for AES.)

Might be a few other things I'm forgetting at the moment...

Thanks guys.. good job. I flashed mine version 1.02us dated 06/06/2006. according to DLink support this firmware is in Beta. FYI
