RAID1, Ext2 and mount hard disk on PC

Hello,
I would like to know if it possible to configure the DNS-323 with two discs RAID1 and then extract one of them and mount on a linux PC. Would it be readable?

In other words... formatting DNS-323 disk as individual disk or RAID1 will do something on the discs or there are no difference between individual disk and RAID1 disc.

Thanks

Yes it would, and it can also be read in a Windows system using the ext2ifs file system driver.
