I've just purchased and installed a new DNS-323 with a pair of WD 1.0TB drives, for the express purpose of backups of the computers on the network, and with the specific intention of running the DNS is RAID1 mode. But having read the Known Issues sticky, I see there are several concerns regarding RAID1 with this box.
So the question is, has the newer firmware (1.06, which has only been out a couple months, or even 1.05) addressed any known issues in that regard; i.e. are users comfortable running this box in RAID1?

Which "known issues" about RAID1 are you worried about?
I've been running RAID1 on FWv1.03 for over two years now, without any problems.
I'm very comfortable with this because I have a backup of my data, and I have practiced
my disaster recover plan, so I believe any issues can be handled with a minimum loss of data.

Like mig, I've had my DNS-323 for over two years, in a RAID1 configuration and am quite comfortable.

No, in the Known Issues sticky, concerns were raised by several posters regarding RAID1.
Thank you both for your replies. I think I will stay with RAID1 for now [barring someone convincing me otherwise].
