What backup software do you prefer for backing up networked computers to the DNS-323? How do you find the included software?
For a very long time I've been using Datakeeper, included with DriveImage from PowerQuest, to backup the XP boxes on my network. It is the version included with DriveImage 5.01, which I believe is the last version before PowerQuest sold out to Symantec. Does anyone know whether this program will run on Vista?

Not exactly backup software, since it is regarding PowerQuest's PartitionMagic rather than their DriveImage, but may be of interest: I just found this: Easeus Partition Master 3.0 Personal Edition is free for personal use. It appears to do much of what PartitionMagic did, works with drives up to 1.5TB, and works with both XP and Vista, but 32-bit versions only.
For 64-bit XP or Vista, they have a Professional version which is reasonably priced. It also can create a bootable CD to run from, which the free Personal edition cannot.
But some of PartitionMagic's features are still lacking from both of these; they are available in Easeus Partition Table Doctor, which can be purchased bundled with the Professional edition, but at significantly higher cost.

Again, not exactly "backup" software, but GParted is da bomb when it comes to partition resizing, copy, etc.
I use the LiveCD (Boot CD or Boot USB Key images) extensively even on servers with SCSI raid

Just wanted to chip in my 2¢.
My favorite is the freeware program SyncBackSE: http://www.2brightsparks.com/downloads.html
