Has anybody had any luck in getting MP4 files (nero recode MP4s) to play from the UPnP Av server on firmware 1.03? I upgraded to 1.03 and had trouble with the AV server crashing on me as well.

No, I have the same problem. Everything worked fine with the old fw regarding upnp but now it plays for like 5 min then it freezes and I can't find the dns-323 on the network until I've restarted it.
sorry i could'n provide a solution, only more problems...

I downloaded the twonkyvision server for the DNS-323 and installed it. Works pretty good for playing MP4s and everything. Also like the 60 minute file refresh. Only problem I've run into is that my DSM-320 player seems to crash every so often with Twonky.
