Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

Sorry for the dumb question, but I have lost the root password on my DNS-323 which is running with funplug.
I can ssh to it and login as admin, but when i do:
~ $ passwd root
passwd: admin can't change password for root
~ $
I can edit and replace the fun_plug file, and I guess this is the place to fix it, but so far I've not found the way.
Help appreciated!

You must be root to change root's password.

See the note near the end about reactivating password-less telnet. This way you can become root and set a new password.

I have somehow stuffed up my install of FFP. In particular the password isn't right. I have tried to restore using the fun_plug.tgz to re-activate telnet but still get prompted for login with telnet. Not sure what I am doing wrong..... Any help greatly appreciated...
