Drive is detected yet it says "Drives were not detected"

Even though I have formated the WD 1TB many times, everytime I log in I am asked to format the drive and redirected to this page:
http://192.168.0.103/web/formatHD/wizar … id=7830993

this is what I see:

Vendor      Model      Serial Number      Size
WDC      WD10EACS-00D6B0      WD-WCAU42689939      1000 GB

I can not create any shares or pick folders.

On the Quota page I see a warning saying that no disks ware found.

My firmware is 1.01

What can I do?

Thanks!

Re: Drive is detected yet it says "Drives were not detected"

Is this a 321 or a 323?  If it's a 323 start by upgrading the firmware - 1.01 is very old and has some issues, current release is 1.06.

By the way - your link points to a private address (presumably that of your NAS) we can't see it.

It is a 321. Firmware 1.01 was the last release for 321.

I posted the link just to show to what page the browser is taking me when I type http://192.168.0.103. I believe it should do that only if the drive is not formatted. Right?
