I used to have a server running TwonkyMedia, but decided to get a DNS-323 Instead. I've seen a lot of posts about Mediatomb and Twonky. I liked twonky over some of the others I tried on my server because it instantly refreshed when I added new files. There are a lot of posts about the old twonky Nassetup.exe but now that Twonky 5 is out, I was wondering if anyone could help me out with a guide to installing it on my NAS.
The other issue I have is connecting to my NAS. I have my NAS behind a Netgear router with my PS3 connected to that router. On another ethernet jack with a different IP, I have a linksys router with a MAC connected to it. I haven't seemed to successfully connect to the NAS with that. I use 6604 as the port for my FTP server (since my ISP blocks 21). I have port forwarding setup correctly on the netgear router, but it's the second router that seems to prevent me from establishing a connection, even if I port forward on both routers. (If I plug the MAC into the wall directly, I can connect to the NAS through the netgear router. ) Any ideas/Suggestions?
Thanks
Tom

I've managed to get twonky media installed on my NAS, but now I have a problem with it not automatically scanning directories. I used to have it instantly scan and refresh, but now I either have to do it manually or wait an hour for it to update(60 minutes in the web configuration page won't change). Is this a problem for everyone? Does MediaTomb instantly update?
