Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

Downgrading to lower firmware

I inadvertently upgraded my DNS323 to 1.06. Its working fine with no problems. However, when I checked the Philippine dlink website at:
http://www.dlink.com.ph/products/suppor … 4#firmware
with a warning like:

Do NOT upgrade your device with these firmware if your product is purchased outside South East Asia.

I purchased this here in South East Asia and the firmware 1.06 is not listed.

My question is, is it still possible to downgrade the firmware? Or perhaps, Im better off with the 1.06 version even if it not supported in Southeast asia

Any help from the experts here will be greatly appreciated

Thank you in advance

Re: Downgrading to lower firmware

You've already upgraded, it's working well, just continue to use it - you could downgrade, but in my opinion 1.06 is better than 1.05

Re: Downgrading to lower firmware

Thank you fordem for the prompt reply smile

Also, I recently tried installing the fun plug and I think it was successful but I have no way of knowing. It mentioned about telneting by using pUTTY but I am not too familiar with Linux commands. Is there a way to get around this?
Im trying to install transmission and the fun plug and uclibc-0.9.29-7 needs to be installed first

Again, thank you so much for the help, truly appreciate it
