dns 323 drop connection / cannot be seen on wireless network

Hi all,

I bought this dns a little while ago and had multiple issues with connection dropping. i was told that this maybe caused by my wireless router having issues (as the dns would come back after I reboot the router) and thus bought a new wireless/router.

I have a versalink verizon 7500 (i know; not the best thing), 4 pc are connectiong wirelesly to the dns. The dns is also used as a printer server.

After i reinstalled the new router, reset my connection, connect all the pc to the wireless network, i ckecked and all the pc could 1) go on the internet fine, 2) see the nas, 3) see the printer and 4) print.

Today (3 days post intallation): cannot see the dns, cannot print.

Any hint / help would be greatly appreciated.
Best

try with a lan cable first.
if there is no problem it's the wlan.

Re: dns 323 drop connection / cannot be seen on wireless network

Is your DNS323 using a static ip address or dynamic ip address? I had issues - probably with the router (DI-824VUP+) - where the ip address of the DNS323 changed after the first lease expiry.

If you have dynamic ip addres - change this to static.

I am assuming that when you cannot see the DNS, you can still get to internet from the PCs.
