As mentioned before, litorrent will be one of the things I'll dig into rather soon and I promise you that I'll share my findings.

There seems to be issues with libtorrent and uClibc. Appearently, libtorrent uses nifty c++ stuff from boost.

Havn't tested yet, as it seems quite complex - but you can see for yourself here:
http://libtorrent.rakshasa.no/ticket/797

So, don't excpect too much. Try the debian croot varian...

Re: Success building the uclibc tool chain and other results

Hi all.

I'm trying to compile ffmpeg library to execute a cron to concatenate mp4 files.

In a Ubuntu 6.06 with crosscompile howto, I execute this lines:
source setpath
export cc=arm-linux-gcc
export gcc=arm-linux-gcc
./configure --cpu=armv4l --cc=arm-linux-gcc --disable-mmx --prefix=$HOME/GPL/uclibc-toolchain-src-20040609/gcc-3.3.x/toolchain_arm/usr

And returns:

WARNING: Unknown CPU "armv4l", ignored.
arm-linux-gcc is unable to create an executable file.
If arm-linux-gcc is a cross-compiler, use the --cross-compile option.
Only do this if you know what cross compiling means.
C compiler test failed.
If you think configure made a mistake, make sure you are using the latest
version from SVN.  If the latest version fails, report the problem to the
ffmpeg-devel@mplayerhq.hu mailing list or IRC #ffmpeg on irc.freenode.net.
Include the log file "config.err" produced by configure as this will help
solving the problem.

What makes wrong?

Thanks for help me.
