Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.
You are not logged in.
After trying once before a long time ago I am once again trying to set up fun plug.
I have a DNS 323 connected on 192.168.1.34 on my network, firmware 1.06 with two 1T Seagate drives
I have been accessing the 323 by mounting it cifs and have had no problems to date.
To start with I removed the drives and put a new drive in the first bay (fresh out of the box I wanted a clean environment)
I then FTP's to volume_1 and placed fun_plug and fun_plug.tgz in the root of volume 1 and rebooted.
After reboot I got back in using FTP and saw that there was an ffp.log and an ffp folder. Unfortunately the folder was completely empty.
The log stated:
ln -snf /mnt/HD_a2/ffp /ffp
* Installing /mnt/HD_a2/fun_plug.tgz ...
tar: inflate error 2
/ffp/etc/rc: Not found or not executable
I have searched for anyone else having this problem and have seen nothing. Does this have anything to do with my cifs mount or is it permission related by chance? I really don't understand as it seems so simple. Did I miss a step somewhere? Any help would be appreciated.

OK, I got by that part. Thanks for that as I would have never considered firefox as the issue.
Disregard this. when all else fails RTFM. Sorry I did not read the part about unlock code entry. Thanks Fonz for the help. I think that I am dangerous now. Really appreciate the quick response and glad I was able to get the unlock code before too many people saw my stupid question.
