I have several DNS-323's
The one in question has a WD 1TB and Seagate 1TB...
Both ARE working and the RAID array is up and sync!
But the DNS-323 web page only shows the Seagate one under PHYSICAL DISK INFO :
The other is ommitted when just above it says that the raid has 2 disks...Weird!
Here is Smartmon.....

GUI reports one drive on my unit as well. Since I'm writing files to one and streaming music from the other I'd have to say both drives are working! I've no idea why this is happening but since df -h and fdisk -l report valid information I've elected to ignore the problem.

Just detected the same issue on one of my 2 units. Firmware 1.07
Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 00 Lun: 00
Vendor: WDC Model: WD5000AAJS-00TKA Rev: 12.0
Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 03
Host: scsi1 Channel: 00 Id: 00 Lun: 00
Vendor: WDC Model: WD5000AAJS-00TKA Rev: 12.0
Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 03
Host: scsi4 Channel: 00 Id: 00 Lun: 00
Vendor: Model: PEAK IV Rev: PMAP
Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02
My other unit running 2x Western Digital WD10EACS, installed around the same time but running firmware 1.06 does not have this issue (for now).
It does not get fixed with a reboot. The unit is running squeezecenter, with a swap partition on USB stick. Auto-rebuild is disabled on this unit, but enabled on the other one.

Do any of you by chance have a USB stick plugged into the USB port, and are running the USB disk driver? If so, this will cause one of the hard disks to disappear from the web page display. I have confirmed that if I do not boot up with the USB stick installed and mounted, the web display shows both disk devices properly 100% of the time.
I think having additional disk drivers and USB disks mounted really confuses the Web GUI... Its just not programmed to handle the modified hardware config.
