Delayed/Wrong time zone enerated in ffp.log date
The date generated by fun_plug script does not follow my synchronized date.

How can I permanently change the date/time? I did use the Web GUI to sync to provided ntp server but nothing give desired result.

there is for sure an issue in fun_plug with time I believe
I'm checking the new CH3MNAS with fun_plug
when using date or date -u both shows ALWAYS UTC time
but when I use /bin/date it is showing my CEST time
Mmm I like the fun_plug but it should not mess with my basic operational functions of the device
or there must be something wrong in the device itself where date decide to show UTC timezone rather than CEST
Fonz, any idea?

Denis, it doesn't mess with your basic operational functions 
ffp doesn't configure timezones or changes any other system parameters, unless you ask it to. I.e. although there are some example commands, they are all disabled by default.
Unless your firmware configures the SGT timezone, I'm pretty sure that iazmin has searched the net for the SGT timezone spec, and enabled it himself.

I solved this issue by disabling the ntpd.sh and sync using crontab as shown in http://nas-tweaks.net/CH3SNAS:Tutorials/ntp. However, the "CST" word still persist although the time now really follow my time zone. nevermind it shouldn't be a big problem...
