Howto mount used disk without reformat?

Hi.
I have installed new bigger disks in my DNS-323. Unfortunately I forgot to backup the old disk (JBOD), and now I tryed to install the old disk again, so I can copy the content to an external drive.
But It¨s not possible without formatting the disk!?
Is it possible to mount the disk in another way, without reformat?
Please can anybody help?

Re: Howto mount used disk without reformat?

Hi. Thanks for replying.
Im on deep water here. I cant see any of my data.
About Linux.. not wery well, sad to say.
I managed though to make bittorrent files eraseable with telnet and odd commands!

Am I the only one with this problem? I think it must be a common problem, and don't understand why DLink don't include a feature to read preinstalled disks!!??
