How to download files from Megashares?
Is there a way to download files from Megashares using a premium account on the DNS-323. I've read some discussions on downloading files from Rapidshare using wget or aria2c, but I haven't found any information on downloading from Megashares.

You could try saving the premium account's cookies and using wget to download the stuff, but you can always just grab the premium link and wget it

Hi zapbranighan,
Could you please explain how you did it? I am trying to do it, I have the cookies.sqlite file (which aria2c can read in native format) but I keep getting and index.htm file of around 18K. I am passing the premium link (if i try the link in a browser it will try to download it).

Bump from hell.
I've had this working for ages. IIRC the version of aria2c working on these NAS' don't support the sqlite file. Only way I was able to generate the needed cookies for megashares was to login to my account using firefox 2.0 to get the old style cookies file then load it on my NAS.
Alternatively, I get the same error only when I try and load a link when away from home. I do an ssh tunnel fro http connections http://jstrassburg.blogspot.com/2006/01 … th-dd.html, set up firefox real quick for my socks proxy, pull the premium link from firefox and load it into aria2c script i have then shut off the proxy and close out my ssh session and all is well.
Hopefully some of this helps anyone who needs it.
