Hi, i just bought a new NAS (Dlink 323). After hardware set up, i'm suppose to configure the system by accessing the configuration on WEB UI. Therefore i figure out the NAS ip address from the DHCP client list on my router settings. Hence i type in http://192.168.1.35/ (1.35 being the address of NAS) and it keeps on loading and loading, yet nothing comes out. I'm not sure how should i set this up. Please help.

Have you tried using a different browser or seeing if any other computer on the network is able to access it?

I did try firefox as well. couldn't get it working either. Does Dlink provide any driver for mac?

I have a mac-only household, and I've never had any problems logging into the web GUI from Mac OS using a multitude of browsers (Safari, Firefox, Camino, etc.). And it's always worked for me through three different firmwares on the DNS-323, as well.

I've used Firefox & Safari to log in just fine (using Leopard or Tiger OS) IMHO, sounds like it's a router setup permissions you need to check.

Another Mac user here. No problems whatsoever logging into the web GUI. Not sure if the stock DNS 323 will respond to a ping but you should give that a try. That will at least tell you if you box is reachable via your intranet.
