Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

My dns323 was running fine all along. Then suddenly yesterday night I notice it is extremely slow.
I already rebooted it few times and also ran fsck. Still doesn't fix the problem. It is still very very slow. Even browsing directories take like 10 secs to open a directory. View 2mb picture takes almost 30 secs. This never happened before.
I am using firmware 1.05.
Anyone have any idea what could be the problem?

tried to browse from another PC ? This may be your PC issue.

i tried from another linux PC, transfer 100mb files also is longer than usual. Could it be my switch is causing this problem? I have no other switch to swap for test.

You can connect the DNS-323 directly to the computer - provided you set static ip addresses on both - a "straight through" (ie standard network )cable will work as the DNS-323 will automatically handle the cross over requirements.

oh..it does handle direct connect? I didn't know that. Ok will test this next time this happen again. Cause now it's working as before.
I didn't do anything, just left it running overnight, go to work, come back and see it's working again.
I don't understand what happened, cause I rebooted everything! The switch, the pc, the server, the dns323 even my adsl modem.
Still, i learned that straighcable works through dns323.
Thanks.

here is some update.
It happened again. This time I got a spare switch borrowed from somewhere. Changed it and now seems to be working fine for the past 1 day. Hope the switch is the problem...
