Unfortunately no one can be told what fun_plug is - you have to see it for yourself.

I am not able to ssh or telnet into my DNS-321. I recently hacked into using the ffp / fun_plug tutorial and then I decided that I wanted to install Debian. Even though the tutorial says that I should be able to ssh into my box, I am not able to do so. I can ftp into it.
I am new to Linux, and I am using an Ubuntu system.

If you just installed the fun_plug then you should be able to log in via Telnet, once you do that, you enable SSH so that you can SSH in to your box.
Everything is on the wiki, just make sure you read carefully.

I was able to ssh using the fun_plug, but I lost the ability to do so when I installed Debian over the fun_plug. I read later I should have deleted the ffp folder before installing Debian.

Any ideas what I should do next to get the ssh working again?

Alright using the fun_plug_05-2 worked. now I am able to ssh into my box.
